Dr Valeria Spivak
Dr Valeria Spivak attained a bachelor's degree in medicine with honours from Tyumen State University, Russia, before moving to Australia in 2005. Soon after, she embarked upon her psychiatry career in Newcastle, NSW. There, she undertook the first two years of her training before moving to Brisbane in 2015 to complete a further three years at the Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Service.

Dr Spivak currently works as a Psychiatrist at the Prince Charles Hospital in Brisbane where she commenced her employment in February 2018. She is passionate about providing consistent care through inpatient and outpatient settings. Dr Spivak is also a Senior Lecturer with the University of Queensland and appraises trainee Psychiatrists each year in their RANZCP final examinations. Her particular areas of interest are mood and anxiety disorders.
