Disorders managed by geriatric psychiatrists include:
- Dementia (Mild cognitive impairment; Alzheimer’s disease; Vascular dementia, Parkinson’s disease)
- Neuropsychiatric complications from stroke, multiple sclerosis
- Late-life presentations of psychiatric disorders (e.g. Depression)
