Perinatal psychiatry is the branch of psychiatry dealing with the management of mental health disorders in the antenatal and postnatal period. Pregnancy and parenthood is a wonderful time but can come can be extremely challenging.
Our psychiatrist work supports patients with pre- planning, pregnancy and post-natal care. This can include addressing issues: postnatal depression, puerperal psychosis and medication management while pregnant or breastfeeding.
