Dr Richard Goodwin is a Fellow of The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) with a Certificate of Advanced Training in Older Persons Mental Health (FPOA). He has worked in both public and private mental health services in Adult Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Consultation Liaison Psychiatry, Addiction Psychiatry, and Old Age Psychiatry.

Dr Goodwin has special interests in both general adult and old age psychiatry. He offers comprehensive assessment and management of a range of mental health disorders including anxiety disorders, mood disorders (including depression and bipolar affective disorder), psychotic disorders, ADHD, adjustment disorders, and cognitive disorders. Dr Goodwin is dedicated to working together with patients and carers to develop safe and effective treatment plans that utilise an evidence-based approach.
